Employment Policy Manual

by Tricia Henry and Patricia Commins

One of the major reasons for employee turn-over is miscommunication and unclear policies. Just keeping up with the day to day management of the business is difficult enough without worrying about being in compliance with the confusing maze of Labor Laws.

Using Outsource Resource's Employee Policy Manual as a foundation, we define and develop employment policies that are customized to your business. A series of meetings with the employer determines if existing policies are appropriate, options are explored, and new policies are decided for the best interest of the employer and employee. The new draft manual is approved by the employer and the policies are presented and discussed with all staff members in a meeting conducted by our Personnel Consultant.

Preprinted, easy-to-use forms are available with the program for employee performance evaluations, employment agreements, vacation and benefit tracking, employee disciplinary conferences and more. Employee files are set up with all the required documentation and records. Any new policies which are in question are reviewed by our attorney for legality.

The final Employee Policy Manual is printed and a computer copy is loaded onto the business's computer for future revisions or additions. For the convenience of the business and to ensure compliance with new laws, we offer annual policy review and update meetings.
